Aquarius 7x7 with Custom Moldings

Aquarius 7x7 is a beautiful repeating design that conforms to any size space.  Eighteen Aquarius are surrounded by a custom plain rounded molding (Buttercream glaze), Sculpted Leaf (Rust glaze), and Chair Rail Moldings (Buttercream glaze).  Total size of this composition is 49 by 28 inches.

Concordia Sero w/ Kallisto Narrow Moldings

Concordia is our most popular design.  Concordia Sero makes a wonderful medium-scale focal point when combined with this elaborate molding.  Each panel is slightly larger than 15 x 8 inches.  Glazes are as follows, left to right: Rust with Green Shadow, Banana with Banana, Ocean with Ocean, White Satin with White Satin.

Imaginatio with Chair Rail and Fields

Perfect for tall spaces, this refined combination of Imaginatio tiles with Chair Rail molding and handmade 4x8 field tiles will set even the most jaded of critics back on their heals.  Imaginatio and field tiles are in Earthly Plum, and moldings in Antique Bronze.

Corono 4x4 pressed into 6x6 with Surround & Moldings

Corono 4x4 (offered in a variety of sizes) is stamped into 6x6 tiles (creating a framing effect), surrounded by custom rounded-over moldings, flat fields and Chair Rail molding custom cut to 2 inches.  Custom red glaze with Gloss White.  Approx. 22 x 22 inches.

Sidereus Medallion Configuration

Sidereus, one of our most popular designs, is pictured here in a 6x6, 3x3, 1x1, and 1x8 border tile.  Chair Rail multi-frames tie this composition together, along with custom-sized field tiles in the areas between decoratives.  All Sidereus tiles and moldings are pictured here in Rust, and field tiles are in Bone.

Aquarius 9x9 with Sculpted Leaf Moldings

Aquarius 9x9 are pictured here with a Sculpted Leaf frame.  The frame was cut upon installation, and this picture is of the tiles layed out in the Artist's studio.  This entire composition was glazed in a light application of Mottled Aqua (brings out more golds behind the aqua-blues).

Aurelia Centerpiece with Surround and Molding

True elegance is the theme in this composition.  Aurelia Centerpiece is flanked by smooth Surround tiles (4-parts), and enclosed by beautiful Chair Rail molding tiles.  This concept is comprised of 10 tile items (4-part surround counted as one item) and is 26 inches tall by 21 inches wide.  Aurelia Centerpiece is shown here in Gloss White, while the surround and molding tiles are in Mottled Aqua.

Concordia with Kallisto Moldings

Concordia is shown here without the scalloped edging in order to smoothly flow into the elaborate presence of the Kallisto molding, which is made from a casting of an antique picture frame.  Concordia is in Rust, and Kallisto is in Green Shadow.

Renaissance Concepts

Renaissance is featured with an 8x8 surround and Sculpted Leaf molding (left), and a 12x12 surround with Chair Rail (right).  Custom brown glaze treatments with clear glaze and Dark Forest green glaze beautifully accent each other.

Aquarius w/Chair Rail Moldings Concept

Aquarius is a 9x9 tile that can be combined to fill an entire 18-inch backsplash, or framed out to size for a focal area.  Antique Bronze (medium application) is the glaze pictured.

Rosa w/ Moldings Concept

Rosa is a ornate and nostalgic medium-scale large medallion tile.  Rosa is accented here with Sculpted Leaf molding and enclosed with Chair Rail molding.  The entire composition is in a heavy application of the Dark Forest glaze.

Chara Grandis w/ Molding Concept

Make use of the elegant design and shape of the Chara Grandis half-round tile by creating this large composition.  Chara Grandis takes center stage, flanked by three custom-created field tiles (two on the sides with a small bridge tile on the top), and beautiful Chair Rail molding in 14 and 10 inch sections custom-cut to surround the entire motif.  The above composition is glazed in Autumn Antiquity, a hand-rubbed matte finish, with crème highlights and rich red-brown lowlights.  This finish needs to be sealed before installation, and works beautifully with tumbled granite or marble.

Spectacular Fireplace

This amazing fireplace concept combines Imaginatio (sides) with Quies Imperial (top center) and Delicatus 6x6, elegantly framed with Chair Rail.  This ornate design is infinitely flexible with the use of plain tiles as spacers in between the large decorative pieces.  (See the Custom Projects area for an example of this.)  Shown here in a custom textured glaze to resemble hammered metal, these pieces meld beautifully together, even though their designs are different.  The Chair rail can be made to frame any size fireplace.  As shown, this fireplace is 42 1/2 x 35 1/2 inches.  Our durable stoneware tiles can be used to form the surrounds and hearths of wood, gas, or electric fireplaces.

Pomarius w/ Kallisto Moldings

Make your tiles look like an ornately framed picture by using our Kallisto molding.  Kallisto was fashioned directly from an antique picture frame, and makes the perfect compliment to classic Pomarius extra-large tile.  Kallisto is shown here in Bone, while Pomarius is in Deep Green.  The total dimensions of this design are 22 inches high by 19 1/2 inches wide.

Imaginatio w/ Chair Rail and Kallisto Moldings

Imaginatio is one of our most stunning designs, named for it's fountain-like appearance (like the imagination springing forth), this tall and regal design can take on a variety of personalities.  Add ornate appeal with the Kallisto molding (right), or a classically clean look with Chair Rail molding (left).  For very large range-hood spaces, 2 or 3 of these elegantly framed tiles can stand side by side in a series with the same or varied glazes.  The picture on the left is Gloss White with a Mottled Aqua frame, and the one on the left is Moss Green with a Bone molding frame.  

Quies-Delicatus-Lucescere Concept

The combination of Quies large medallion tile, 3 Delicatus round tiles, and 2 Lucescere wide border tiles coordinate in an opulent design configuration.  The above design layout features decorative tiles in Rust and field tiles in Mottled Aqua.  The warm and subtle gold undertones in both finishes work together with surprising harmony.  This concept is comprised of 13 tiles and is 17 1/2 inches tall by 17 inches wide.  

Aurelia Collection Concept

The Aurelia Collection comes together in this stunning large concept board.  Aurelia Centerpiece is in the center with Aurelia Companion on either side (shown here in Old Gold).  The board is surrounded by Aurelia surrounds and custom field tiles in Mottled Aqua.  The curves in Lily Consero (also in Old Gold) compliment Aurelia.

Aurelia-Corvus Concept

Corvus is our NEW bracket tile.  Shown here, Corvus beautifully compliments and frames Aurelia Centerpiece.  This design concept includes 6x6 field tiles in soft blue (and custom-sized/cut) and, 2 Corvus tiles and Aurelia Centerpiece in Soft Gold.  The Aurelia-Corvus design pictured here is 34 inches long by 18 inches tall.  

Chara Collection Concept

Chara Collection fits together like a beautiful puzzle, creating high visual interest and design impact.  This board is created from just 7 tiles, yet is about 21-inches by 21-inches in size.  Chara Grandis tops this board with Chara Catillus inside 6x6 tile surrounds below.  Chara tiles are in Rust and surround tiles are in Bone.

Botanical Collection

Explore the possibilities of the NEW Fall 2006 Botanical Collection.  This collection includes Maple Leaf (6x6), Boquet (3x3), and Garden (7x1).  Star curved tile not included here.  This concept board also demonstrates our new hand-rubbed Antiquity finishes.

Flora Reverie - Labrusca Collection Concept

Don't be afraid to combine our designs!  Flora Reverie takes center stage in this concept, while gracefully surrounded by Labrusca, with Coalesco in the corners, all in Ocean.  Custom field tiles in Waters deep help the relief tiles really stand out!

Apple Blossom Concept

The Apple Blossom design concept demonstrates a running border dressed-up with a flowing combination of designs.  Center tiles are Apple Blossom, bordered by Sidereus narrow border all in a Mottled Aqua Finish.

Classic Deco Concept

Reflect Modern or Craftsman styles using this versatile combination of the Classic Deco wide border tiles (center) enclosed by Hearts Divine narrow border and accompanying corner pieces, all in Antique Bronze.  Custom field tiles are in Bone.

Tulip Vine Concept

 Vine Flower wide border tiles are made to intertwine with each other.  The stem from one tile flows into the flower of the following tile.  This design features Vine Flower in Cobalt Blue surrounded by manufacturer subway tiles in bright white.
